Nicole Spencer, owner of White Buffalo Naturals

Video: short seminar on healing with plants

Hello, my name is Nicole Spencer. My Lakota name is Red Stone Woman. My lineage from my Mother’s side is  Hunkpapa Lakota from Standing Rock, ND, and I am an enrolled member of the Peoria Tribe of Oklahoma. My Father’s lineage is of British and Swiss descent.

I am a herbalist, life coach and the owner/operator of White Buffalo Naturals. I have studied herbal medicine for over 20 years and my passion is connecting with Nature and creating beautiful and effective herbal products.
I am American Indian yet was born and raised in British Columbia, Canada.

I have been studying herbal medicine for over 20 years with local Indigenous healers and medicine people on Vancouver Island and in California.

I have also completed a Community Herbalist diploma from Pacific Rim College in Victoria, B.C. and obtained an Associate of Science degree in Holistic Nutrition from the American College of Healthcare Sciences of Oregon USA.

My healthcare philosophy and objective is to bridge the gap in our stressed and uncertain healthcare systems in Canada by providing affordable, natural alternatives.

I also provide healthcare coaching and believe in meeting people where the are at with their health, without judgement or discrimination.

I am active on social media promoting gathering and medicine making techniques to empower people to take a more present role in their own health, all while teaching proper protocol in line with the Indigenous teachings I have received.

I source my materials locally and from Canada whenever possible and grow a lot of the medicines that I use to make products.

Wopila tanka, many thanks.
